Type species Gymnogramma cyanea Meyrick, 1912 View in CoL .
This genus is related to Yponomeuta View in CoL but differs superficially in the lack of markings and the amazing blue colouration of the forewings. The hindwing contains a small hyaline basal batch. Only the type species is known.
It is named in honour of the late N.J. Duke who reared the species.
