Subgenus Oxyphortica Duda View in CoL
Oxyphortica Duda, 1923: 34 View in CoL (as subgenus of Phortica View in CoL ); Okada, 1971: 90 (transfererred this subgenus to Stegana View in CoL ). Type species: Drosophila convergens de Meijere, 1911 View in CoL .
Diagnosis. – (Modified from Okada, 1971, 1978; Sidorenko, 1998). M 1 distally and weakly curved forward; midleg tibia basally with two (usually) to three long, strong setae on posterodorsal surface; mesopleuron with two dark longitudinal stripes.
