Habitat in Germania.

Numerus digitorum pedum in hac & antecedente nobis ignotus. Cuniculo minor, cauda pedibus fere brevior. Bucca utrinque saccata.

Cavernas fodit sub terra plurimis concamerationibus, duplici foramine: altero obliquo aditu, altero perpendiculari specula. Colligit Frumentum, Pisa, Fabas, fructus, in distinctis cameris servanda, adportat ea in bucca; parit bis in anno sex pullos, itidem in propria camera servandos, uti etiam sterquilinium in distincta.

Venatur ob carnes, pelles, frumentum collectum; occiditur pulvere Veratri, farina & melle in panes coctis.

Citillus auctorum, si ab hoc diversus, probe observandus.
