Range: —Greater Antilles; southern Mexico to Bolivia (BE, CH, CO, LP, SC, TA), northern Argentina and Brazil.

Ecology: —Very common; epiphytic, often on tree fern trunks, also on fallen logs, wet cliffs, and banks in humid forests; 300–3100 m.

Notes: —Rachises filiform and unwinged, the pinnae stalked (except at the blade apices), costae winged (except below the proximal pinnules), ultimate segments 0.5–0.8 mm wide. Sori are 1–5 per pinna, with involucres usually laterally winged.
