= Sphaerocionium pyramidatum (Desv.) Copel., Philipp. J. Sci. View in CoL 67(1): 30. 1938. Range: — Colombia to Bolivia (CO, LP). Ecology: —Uncommon; pendent epiphyte in humid forests, less commonly on wet road banks; 700–2700 m. Notes: — Hymenophyllum lobatoalatum Klotzsch View in CoL , from Colombia to Peru, may occur in Bolivia. It differs from H. pyramidatum View in CoL by the lamellae on the abaxial side consisting mostly of scattered flanges that are about as long as broad (vs. elongate flanges often nearly the length of the veins) and by lacking lamellae adaxially.
