Dollin, bracket fungus in red spruce forest, (4), NSMC ; Tobeatic Lake , 3.vi.2003, P. Dollin, red spruce snag in red spruce forest, (2), NSMC .

Newly recorded in Nova Scotia and the Maritime Provinces as a whole ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ). It usually occurs alone in conks in the northern part of its range ( Lawrence 1971).
