Type host – Poaceae sp. and Saccharum officinarum .
Type locality – Congo ( RDC ex Zaire) .
Distribution – Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Outside India – Australia, Brazil, Cameroon, Congo, Cuba, Madagaskar, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Hosts – Sorghum bicolor .
