Type host – Cocos nucifera .
Type locality – Fiji.
Distribution – Andaman Nicobar Island, Assam, Karnataka, Kerala, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. Outside India – Australia, China, France, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Malaysia, Micronesia, Federated States, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Seychelles, Taiwan, Thailand and USA.
Hosts – Arachis hypogaea , Areca catechu, Carica papaya, Citrus aurantium , Cocos nucifera , Elettaria cardomomum , Ficus recemosa , Holoptelea integrifolia , Mangifera indica , Morus indica , Ricinus communis and Zea mays .
