Description. Holotype Male. Integument mostly reddish brown. Apex of antennal tubercles, postclypeus, genae, and margins of prothorax dark brown. Posterior third of mandibles black. Elytra mostly orangish brown, with three transverse, oblique brown fasciae on base, about middle, and posterior third; first two wider, toward inclined area, which are truncate.

Head. Frons transverse, depressed laterally, coarsely, deeply, abundantly punctate; with long, moderately sparse orangish-brown pubescence, with scattered, short, decumbent, thick white setae near eyes, and one long, erect yellowish seta on each side close to eye. Vertex short, coarsely, deeply punctate, with sparse orangish-brown pubescence and two long, yellowish setae on each side near eyes. Area behind upper eye lobes with moderately yellowish pubescence close to eye, gradually less dense toward prothorax. Area behind lower eye lobes coarsely punctate, with dense yellowish-brown pubescence; with long, sparse setae interspersed with short, decumbent, thick white setae close to eye; glabrous, smooth toward prothorax. Antennal tubercles moderately elevated, moderately punctate apically; with pubescence as on frons. Genae obtuse apically; moderately coarsely, sparsely punctate; orangish-brown pubescent interspersed with short, thick white setae. Basal two-thirds of outer side of mandibles yellowish-brown pubescent interspersed with short, decumbent, thick sparse white setae. Postclypeus with anterior area lower than posterior one; with yellowish-brown pubescence interspersed with long, erect, yellowish setae on wide central area. Labrum abruptly inclined anteriorly; with sparse yellowish pubescence interspersed with long yellowish setae directed forward. Submentum transversely sulcate, moderately shallowly, sparsely punctate; finely yellowish pubescent, with a few long, erect, yellowish setae on anterior margin. Gula shiny, smooth, glabrous. Distance between upper eye lobes 0.65 times length of scape; in frontal view, distance between lower eye lobes 1.1 times length of scape. Antennae 1.82 times elytral length; reaching elytral apex near apex of antennomere IX; with moderately yellowish-brown pubescence (finer on last antennomeres); with short, thick sparse white setae, apically on antennomeres IV-X; pedicel and antennomeres III-XI with long, erect yellowish setae ventrally.Antennal formula (ratio) based on length of antennomere III: scape = 0.81; pedicel = 0.16; IV = 1.0; V = 0.81; VI = 0.66; VII = 0.61; VIII = 0.57; IX = 0.52; X = 0.52; XI = 0.42.

Thorax. Prothorax about 1.40 times wider than long (including lateral tubercles); lateral tubercles large, conical, with acute apex placed about middle. Pronotum coarsely, moderately, sparse punctate, except smooth central gibbosity; with three gibbosities, one subelliptical on each side from anterior third to middle; another one subcylindrical, obtuse apically and sulcate on posterior area, placed about middle; with orangish-brown pubescence, and scarce long, erect yellowish setae. Sides of prothorax coarsely, moderately abundantly punctate; with yellowishbrown pubescence interspersed with short, decumbent, thick white setae (present along posterior margin). Ventral surface of thorax with punctures and pubescence as on sides of prothorax, with orangish-brown on prosternal process, and yellowish pubescent on anterior margin; prosternal process distinctly narrow centrally, with its narrowest area about as wide as 1/6 of procoxal cavity; mesoventral process gradually narrowed toward its posterior third, with long callosity, rounded apically, with its narrowest area about as wide as 1/3 of mesocoxal cavity. Scutellum with white pubescence, distinctly more pubescent on posterior half. Elytra. Coarsely, deeply abundantly punctate on basal half, sparsely, shallowly punctate on distal half; with granulated and elevated centrobasal area; humeri slightly elevated, apex rounded; mostly covered with orangish-brown pubescence, and scattered yellowish-brown spots: with short, decumbent, thick, sparse white setae throughout. Legs. Coxae, trochanters, femora and tibiae with yellowish pubescence; with short, decumbent, thick, sparse white setae throughout; with long, erect yellowish setae ventrally on trochanters and femora. Protibiae with yellowish tuft ventroapically, meso- and metatibiae dorso- and ventroapically. Metatarsomere I shorter than II–III together; tarsi with whitish pubescence; with a few short, decumbent, thick white setae.

Abdomen. Ventrites with scattered, yellowish-white pubescence; with short, decumbent, thick, sparse white setae throughout; apex of ventrite V rounded, with long, erect, yellowish setae.

Dimensions (mm), male holotype /male paratype. Total length, 11.5/13.60; prothoracic length, 2.15/2.70; anterior prothoracic width, 2.20/2.80; posterior prothoracic width, 2.35/3.0; maximum prothoracic width (between apex of lateral tubercles), 3.10/3.80; humeral width, 4.15/4.85; elytral length, 8.35/9.40.
