Diagnosis. This species differs from the similar L. orbitalis by the face color and defined punctures on the metasoma; from the closely related L. aitmatovi it differs in the lateral profile of the propodeum not being impressed ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 9 – 13 ); the mesopleuron is roughly punctate ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 9 – 13 ); the first metasomal tergum is not strongly convex; and the parameres do not project far beyond the metasoma.

Description. Female. Body size 8 mm. Antenna with 39–44 flagellomeres. Scape 0.42X as lomg as wide. Head not narrowed behind eyes; matt. Maximum length of temple 1.2X transverse eye diameter; minimum length of temple 0.79X transverse eye diameter. Face 1.18X height of eye; convex, with bulge. Clypeus separated from face by very shallow impression; projecting anteriorly; apical margin of clypeus not thin. Clypeal fovae not large. Malar space 0.5X basal mandible width. Occipital carina medially complete. Lower mandible tooth longer than upper.

Mesosoma matt. Notaulus very shallowly impressed basally. Mesopleuron matt, coarsely and distinctly punctate. Claws elongate, pectinate, hair-like teeth. Fore wing with areolet not petiolete. Radius intercepting stigma slightly before its middle. Second recurrent vein with single bulla. Hind wing with nervellus intercepted below middle. Nervulus interstitial. Propodeum with carinae incomplete. Costula absent. Area superomedia elongate, narrow and fused with area basalis.

Metasoma dimly shining, sparsely setose, distinctly punctate. First metasomal tergum not convex, 0.64X as long as apically wide; without shallow median longitudinal impression; bordered by lateral longitudinal carinae; dorsal longitudinal carinae absent. Epipleurum of terga 4–7 not separated by crease. Parameres narrow, not projecting beyond metasoma.

Female. Body mostly black. Face yellow, medially black, yellow marks behind eyes; legs (except black coxa) and metasomal terga (except base of first terum) yellow-reddish. Male with same coloration.

Material. Holotype, female, Mongolia, Hovd Aimag, Hovd Soum, Hovd Gol, 3 km NW Myangad; N48.24562, E091.90144, 1172m., 20.vii.2009, J. Gelhaus (MAS); Paratype, male, Mongolia, Hovd Aimag, Hovd Soum, Hovd Gol, 3 km NW Myangad; N48.24562, E091.90144, 1172m., 20.vii.2009, J. Gelhaus (MAS).

Distribution. Mongolia.

Etymology. The species epithet refers to the type location ( Fig. 54 View FIGURES 52 – 55. 52 ).
