Genus Caelorrhina Hope, 1841
The genus is close to Anisorrhina and Tmesorrhina , sharing some characters with them (see Holm & Marais 1992). According to Holm & Marais (1992) the genus was never revised since Bourgoin (1921), thus modern revision is urgently needed. Most of the species were treated under the genus Eccoptocnemis (e.g. see Allard 1991). Beinhundner (2017a) recognized eleven valid species, three of them recorded for Angola, one being endemic ( Ferreira 1965). We give two new species records for this country.
