Omphale aetius (Walker)

Entedon Aetius Walker, 1839:78. Lectotype female in BMNH, examined.

Entedon Metius Walker, 1839:90. Lectotype female in BMNH, examined. Synonymized by Graham (1963).

Omphale aetius (Walker), Graham (1959).

Omphale aetius (Walker), Graham (1963).

Omphale aetius (Walker), Gijswijt (1976).

Remarks.

Lectotype with purple metallic tinges on thoracic dorsum. Type does not run to Omphale aetius in the Graham (1963) key because the female gaster is too short on the type, about 2 × as long as wide. According to couplet 26 in the Graham key the gaster should be at least 2.4 × as long as wide to lead to Omphale aetius .
