Distribution. This species is widespread in East Asia and is known from China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, North and South Korea, Papua-New-Guinea, Sri Lanka, and Thailand ( Drake & Ruhoff 1965a; 1965b; Péricart 1990; Guilbert 2006; 2007).
