Oedipoda fuscocincta coelestina (Uvarov, 1923)

Diagnosis: Dark fasciae of wings not or slightly extending towards base by a small spot into the anterior field (Harz, 1975: Fig. 1722).

Habitats: Generally a species of the desert, semi-desert otherwise found in dry places, often stony, with sparse vegetation where it may extend into cultivated ground.

Material examined: Sebha Region: Sebha, 1♀, on alfalfa, 11.vi.1995 .

Localities: Cyrenaica: Bengasi, Shahat (Cyrene); Fezzan: Sebha.

Distribution: Libya.
