Habitus Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1 – 8 . Length. 0.80–0.81 mm. Colour dusky yellow, antennae paler yellow. Antennomeres 3–11 Fig. 43 View FIGURES 41 – 55 . Pronotum 0.23 mm long, 0.34 mm wide, lateral margins with a sharply angled projection, pubescence very long, approximately one third to one quarter length of the pronotum, fovea coarse, +/- 7 between anterior and posterior margins ( Fig. 64 View FIGURES 62 – 76 ). Elytra: length 0.49 mm, width 0.46 mm, foveae finer and denser, and pubescence shorter than pronotum.

Etymology. This epithet is derived from the Latin adjective dentatus, meaning toothed, and recognises the shape of the lateral margins of the pronotum.

Remarks. The sharply angled lateral margins of the pronotum will serve to distinguish this species from all others studied to date.

Type data. Holotype: ♂, Montagne d’Ambre N.P., sifting, 1100 m, 30.x.2010, P. Banar (BMNH). Paratypes: 4 ♀, same data as holotype (BMNH).
