Habitus Fig. 17. Length 0.78 mm. Colour dusky yellow, antennae and legs paler yellow. Antennae short, antennomeres 3–11 Fig. 55 View FIGURES 41 – 55 . Pronotum 0.20 mm long, 0.30 mm wide, lateral margins slightly pointed, Fig. 76 View FIGURES 62 – 76 , closely punctured, +/-9 punctures between anterior and posterior margins. Elytra 0.54 mm long, 0.44 mm wide, more finely punctured than pronotum, pubescence as pronotum.
Female: spermatheca Fig. 79 View FIGURES 77 – 89 .
Male: not known.
Etymology. This epithet is taken from the Latin adjective delicatus, meaning soft or tender, and refers to the delicate appearance of this species.
Remarks. The closely punctured pronotum and form of the spermatheca should be sufficient to distinguish this species.
Type data. Holotype: ♀, Andasibe N.P. border, ASB/ Nov.2011, Feon’ny Ala Hotel surr., sifting leaf litter, Winkler app. extraction, 27.ix–3.xii, L.S.Rahanitriniaina (BMNH).
