Diagnosis. SIF = 7BS-N-3-2111.1000; fPp = B/B/NBB; fCx = 1.1.1; fSt = 2.2; fSc: PL> AL> AM; Ip = 778–851; 2H-[(7–9)-(4–8)]-[(4–7)-(4–8)]-(7–10)-(6–10)-...; DS = 46–57; VS = 28–44; NDV = 76–101. Standard measurements of 11 specimens from Turkey are given in Table 11 .

Type material (not examined). The species was described by single specimen collected in Vrana farm ( Bulgaria: Sofia); holotype is deposited in ZISB.

Material from Turkey examined. One larva (ZISP) ex Apodemus mystacinus , Çorum Prov., 1.7 km E from Bogazkale, near Yazılıkaya, 1190 m a.s.l., 26 October 1969, coll. M. Daniel; 12 larvae (ZISP) ex Chionomys nivalis , Antalya Prov., 6 km SWW from Kizlarsivrisi Mt, 2135 m a.s.l., 26 April 2009, coll. AAS; 1 larva (ZISP) ex A. flavicollis , Antalya Prov., 7 km NE from Arif (Arikanda), 1364 m a.s.l., 28 April 2009, coll. AAS; 14 larvae (ZISP) ex Ch. nivalis , Adana Prov., 3.5 km W from Karanfil Mt, 1709 m a.s.l., 1 May 2009, coll. AAS; 16 larvae (ZISP) ex Microtus schidlovskii , Adana Prov., 5 km SEE from Yelatan, 1930 m a.s.l., 6 May 2009, coll. AAS; 7 larvae (ZISP) ex Ch. nivalis and A. witherbyi , Mersin Prov., 8 km NW from Çamlıyayla (Namrun), 1795 m a.s.l., 10 May 2009, coll. AAS.

Hosts. Chionomys nivalis (Martins) , Microtus schidlovskii Argyropulo , Apodemus flavicollis (Melchior) , A. mystacinus (Danford and Alston) , A. witherbyi Thomas.

Distribution. Bulgaria. This species is here recorded from Turkey for the first time.

Remarks. Our specimens differ from the holotype of this species in having slightly less idiosomal setae (NDV = 76–90 vs. 101) and in AP = 21–25 vs. 17. Our data on leg lengths are incomparable with those given by Kolebinova, as she measured legs without coxae ( Stekolnikov 2001d), but the length of tarsus III judging from her figures (74 µm) is in good agreement with our data (68–75).
