Status at New Ireland. New record, based on NTUM material (1 specimen, St. CP 4421-23, northeast of New Hanover; 1 specimen, St. CP 4422-9, northeast of New Hanover ).

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 1.—General distribution: Western Pacific: Papua New Guinea; New Caledonia. Bathydemersal, 275–950 m depth. Marine.
