HOLOTYPE. — MNHN.F. R 03929.
TYPE LOCALITY. — Antsatramahavelona (gisement 117), northern Analalava region, Peninsula of Radama, northern Mahajanga Basin, Mahajanga Province.
TYPE AGE. — Albian-Cenomanian.
DISCUSSION
Although this species is represented exclusively by the holotype, it does show the main characters of the genus. We point out that Van Bakel et al. (work in progress) consider Dromiopsis pulchella to be a necrocarcinid rather than a dynomenid. We have nothing to add to the diagnosis and description of Secrétan (1964: 169, text-figs 98-100, pl. 19, fig. 7).
