Distribution in Canada and Alaska.

BC, AB, MB, ON, QC, NB, NF ( Bousquet et al. 2013).

Natural history.

The single NB specimen of Stenus alexanderi was collected by treading litter and moss into water on the margin of a small pond/marsh.
