Dolichoprymna longipennis Holmgr. sensu Lundström (1915: 21) .
The male imago of M. longipennis has been redescribed by Saether (1989: 421). Saether (1995: 45) has redescribed the Lundström material, including the female (3 specimens), and established the above synonymy. Dolichoprymna Lundström, 1915 (type species by original designation and monotypy: D. longipennis ) has thus become a junior synonym of Metriocnemus View in CoL van der Wulp, 1874.
