Type Locality: Australia, Western Australia, Kimberley, Napier Range, Tunnel Creek.

Vernacular Names: Yellow-lipped Bat.

Synonyms: Vespadelus douglasi (Kitchener 1976) .

Distribution: Kimberley (N Western Australia).

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (nt) as Eptesicus douglasorum .

Discussion: caurinus species group. Originally described as douglasi but emended by Kitchener et al. (1987).
