Type species: Ulopsina sinica Dai, Viraktamath & Zhang, 2012 View in CoL .
Diagnosis. Crown anterior margin slightly concave medially in dorsal view, projecting broadly beyond outer margins of eyes; macrosetal formula of hind femur apex 2+0+0; male pygofer fused to valve; caudal lobe of pygofer with sclerotized process rugose; mesal area with four to five short, stout setae; subgenital plate neither divided nor with basal suture; aedeagus with well-developed dorsal apodeme, shaft with or without pair of subapical asymmetrical processes and basal unpaired lateral process.
Ulopsina resembles Radhades Distant but differs from the latter in having a more flattened face and more prominently carinate anterior head margin.
Distribution. China (Guangxi, Yunnan, Tibet).
