Remarks. Ectoedemia suberis is common in the Mediterranean departments and on Corsica. Before Le Marchand recognized the presence of two species ( Le Marchand 1946b), adults were often confused with Ectoedemia haraldi . Old records, therefore, are often misidentifications, as was the case in the Iberian Peninsula (van Nieukerken et al. 2004a). We therefore exclude all records from the western Part of France (33, 46), which we did not examine. Most likely they represent E. haraldi .
