Remarks. In contrast to Ectoedemia sericopeza and E. louisella , larvae or mines of E. decentella are rarely found, and most records refer to adults collected at light or reared
from cocoons found on tree trunks. It feeds on Acer pseudoplatanus and A. monspessulanum .
