Misidentification: Trifurcula pallidella ; Lhomme [1963]: 1209— 11 [recte 04]

Remarks. The type locality of Molières is here re­interpreted to be in 04­Alpes­de­ Hautes­Provence (3.5 km N Digne) and not in 11­Aude on the basis of Chrétien (1927), (see explanation in introduction). This species has not been found again since 1904, neither in France nor elsewhere. The locality Artenac near St. Pons was visited by the senior author in June 2005 ( Fig. 1). Judging from the vegetation on this limestone hill, the most likely hosts are Coronilla minima or Hippocrepis emerus .
