Other distribution: From India through Southeast Asia and Indonesia to New Guinea and the Federated States of Micronesia. Intercepted in timber imported from the region to Japan and New Zealand. (4)

Biology: Polyphagous ( Beeson 1930, Browne 1961a). The gallery system is simply branched in one transverse plane without brood chambers ( Browne 1961a).
