Type Locality: Burma, Bhamo.

Vernacular Names: Chocolate Pipistrelle.

Distribution: NE Burma, Yunnan ( China), India, Nepal, Sri Lanka.

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (lc) as Pipistrellus affinus .

Discussion: May include petersi ; see Francis and Hill (1986) and Corbet and Hill (1992). May be conspecific with mordax ; see Corbet and Hill (1992). Reviewed by Bates and Harrison (1997).
