Type locality.
"Mirzapoor, India".
Material examined.
Gunung Kapor: ME 9095.
Distribution in Borneo.
Sabah: Interior, Kudat, Tawau, and West Coast divisions. Sarawak: Kuching, Samarahan, Serian, Sibu, and Miri divisions. Distribution elsewhere. South to East Asia, Malay Archipelago ( Vermeulen and Whitten 1998).
Remarks.
Only dry shells were found during the surveys. Introduced species.
