Distribution. New Zealand (CL).
Remarks. Broun based the description on a single specimen that we confirmed as the holotype.
Distinguished from other Geochus species by the combination of having elytra with convex interstriae, the dark club strongly contrasting with a pale funicle and the pronotum constricted in the apical 1/3 with distinct lateral impressions.
