Adipic acid is utilized, but D-glucose, Larabinose, D-mannose, D-mannitol, N -acetylglucosamine, D-maltose, potassium gluconate, capric acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate, and phenylacetic acid are not utilized. Strain HMF8222 (= NIBRBAC000498459) was isolated from a solar saltern, Sinan, Jeollanam, Korea.
