Vernacular Names: Cozumelan Golden Bat.
Distribution: S Mexico to Colombia.
Conservation: IUCN 2003 – Not evaluated; not considered in IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001).
Discussion: Formerly included in bennettii (see Hall, 1981; Schaldach, 1965; Villa-R., 1967), but recognized as a distinct species by McCarthy (1987), McCarthy et al. (1993), and Simmons and Voss (1998).
