Description of Rhodanobacter soli View in CoL C2-29

Cells are Gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated, non-pigmented and rod-shaped. Colonies are circular, convex, entire and light yellow-colored after 13 days of incubation on TSA at 30° C. Positive for nitrates reduction, but negative for arginine dihydrolase, cytochrome oxidase, esculin hydrolysis, β -galactosidase, gelatinase, glucose fermentation, indole production and urease in API 20NE test. N - Acetyl-glucosamine and D-maltose are utilized. Strain C 2-29 (= NIBRBAC000498024 ) has been isolated from natural cave, Jeju, Jeju-do, Korea .
