Pyramimitra terebraeformis— Conrad 1865: 28; Palmer 1937: 274, pl. 37, figs 12–15.

Remarks. Palmer (1937) discussed the composition of the genus, illustrated the lectotypes of T. costata and P. terebraeformis , and synonymized the two nominal species. She also described a new species, P. olssoni (see below). Pyramimitra terebraeformis is known from the Gosport Sand (Claiborne Group, Middle Eocene) of Alabama, USA.
