Redescription. Body and head with deep wrinkles and punctures, body generally yellowish brown. Head, pronotum and antennae yellow ( Figures 11 View FIGURE 11 . a, b). Mandibular plates narrowing at apex ( Figure 11 View FIGURE 11 . c). Antennae without conspicuous setae ( Figure 11 View FIGURE 11 . d). Antennal segment 1st does not extend to apex of head. Rostrum extends to mid coxae, yellow, apical segment black. Proximal part of pronotum yellowish brown. Distal part of humeral process of pronotum yellow or black. Pronotum divided into two regions by a transverse tubercles ronotum broader than long. Proximal part of scutellum with yellowish tubercles. Thoracic pleuron yellowish brown and with punctures. Dorsum, venter, spiracles and legs yellowish brown. Connexivum yellow and with punctures, connexival tubercles developed.

Male genitalia: Ventral view of pygophore yellow, medial region of ventral rim of pygophore with oval concavity. Superior process without setae, semicircular ( Figures 11 View FIGURE 11 . e, f). Distal part of paramere narrow ( Figure 11 View FIGURE 11 . g).

Measurements in millimetres of 3 and (Ƥ): Male (n=1) female (n=1). Length of head 1.70 (1.80), width 1.80 (2.00), interocular distance 1.30 (1.50), lengths of antennal segments I, II, III, IV and V, 0.45 (0.50), 0.70 (0.75), 0.35 (0.40), 0.55 (0.60) and 0.80 (0.85), width of pronotum with distal part of humeral process 6.00 (6.40); width of abdomen 4.60 (4.80); total length of body 7.30 (7.50).

Female genitalia: Gonocoxites gibbous and yellowish brown. Distal margin of 8th gonapophysis with recessed (as illustrated in Figure 11 View FIGURE 11 . h).

Material examined. Turkey: Niġde, Ulukışla, 08.VII.1952, 6Ƥ, 43; 27.V.1958, 2Ƥ; 14.VI.1958, 5Ƥ, 13 (leg. Seidenstücker), ( ZSMC); Şanlıurfa, Hilvan, 14.VIII.1977, 13 (leg. Önder).

Distribution. Asia: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkey (Asian part) ( Rider, 2006).

Distribution in Turkey. Niġde ( Seidenstücker 1960); Kahramanmaraş ( Lodos et al. 1998). Comments. This Ponto-Mediterranean species was first recorded in Turkey by Seidenstücker (1960) from the surroundings of Niġde. This species is of rather restricted distribution, it has only been recorded in Turkey, Iran, and the Caucasus ( Rider 2006). The colour of this species is highly variable, specimens from stramineous to dark brown occur.
