Ventocoris Hahn, 1834: 35 . Type species by subsequent designation ( Kirkaldy 1909: xxxiii): Cimex nigellae Fabricius, 1787 (= Cimex rusticus Fabricius, 1781 ).

Glypheria Mulsant & Rey, 1866: 372. Type species by monotypy: Cimex aeruginosus Cyrillus, 1791 (= Cimex rusticus Fabricius, 1781 ). Synonymized by Walker (1867: 64), with Trigonosoma View in CoL .
