Notes
The record from Piemonte was communicated to us by Christophe Praz. A. ampla had been previously reported in Italy only from Valle d’Aosta ( Schmid-Egger 2005). The present records are the first from Liguria and Piemonte. They suggest that A. ampla may occur all along the Italian side of the Southwestern Alps. The Ligurian specimen has been confirmed by DNA barcoding: match with reference sequences between 100% and 98.86% (mean: 99.81%).
