Diagnosis. The new species differs from Homogryllacris anelytra Shi, Guo & Bian, 2012 by: body almost unicolor ( Fig. 6A View FIGURE 6 ), yellowish brown, only dorsal surface of male eighth abdominal tergite with 1 black spot in middle ( Fig. 1E View FIGURE 1 ); the lateral lobes of male subgenital plate with acute apex at posterior margin ( Fig. 1I View FIGURE 1 ); the median concavity of female subgenital plate deeper ( Fig. 2F View FIGURE 2 ).

Description. Male. Body medium. Fastigium verticis approx. 1.7 times as broad as scape. Face with scattered impressed dots ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 ). Median ocellus distinct. Pronotum with anterior margin slightly projecting, posterior margin nearly straight ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 ); lateral lobes longer than high ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ). Fore coxae with 1 spine. Fore and middle femora unarmed on ventral surfaces, hind femora with 6–7 internal and 5–6 external spines on ventral surface. Fore and middle tibiae with 5 pairs of ventral spurs, including 1 pair of apical ones; middle tibiae dorsally with 1 internal spine; hind tibiae with 5–6 internal and 7–8 external spines on dorsal surface, apices with 1 pair of dorsal spurs, 1 pair of subapical ventral spurs and 2 pairs of ventral spurs. Wings reaching the middle area of mesonotum ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ). Second and third abdominal tergites with two rows of stridulatory pegs ( Fig. 1D View FIGURE 1 ). Eighth abdominal tergite prolonged, and curved backward and ventrad ( Fig. 1F View FIGURE 1 ). Ninth abdominal tergite conical in dorsal view, posterior margin with a semicircular concavity in middle ( Fig. 1E View FIGURE 1 ). Tenth abdominal tergite very short, hidden under the ninth abdominal tergite, and provided with a pair of long processes which reaching the middle area of subgenital plate ( Fig. 1G–I View FIGURE 1 ). Basal area of the process depressed, terminating into apex, apical area spine-shaped with acute tip ( Fig. 1G–H View FIGURE 1 ); crossed each other behind base, then running downward and outward, then curved forward, the apex directed dorsad which hook-shaped in lateral view ( Fig. 1F, H View FIGURE 1 ). Subgenital plate longer than wide, the lateral margins slightly convex at basal half, converging; posterior margin with a triangular concavity in middle, the lateral lobes triangular with the external margins slightly longer than the internal margins ( Fig. 1I View FIGURE 1 ); styli slender located on both sides of the subapical area of subgenital plate ( Fig. 1I View FIGURE 1 ).

Female. Seventh abdominal tergite longer than other sterna, basal area with 1 pair of copulatory depressions ( Fig. 2F View FIGURE 2 ). Intersegmental membrane between seventh sternite and subgenital plate about as long as subgenital plate provided with transverse folds ( Fig. 2F View FIGURE 2 ). The outlines of subgenital plate sub-trapezoidal, basal area wider than apical, the lateral margins curved dorsad, posterior margin with median concavity ( Fig. 2F View FIGURE 2 ). Ovipositor about 0.92 times as long as body, gradually upcurved, margins slightly and gradually narrowing towards tip, the subapical area faintly curved dorsad, tip acute ( Fig. 2G View FIGURE 2 ).

Coloration. Body yellowish brown ( Fig. 6A View FIGURE 6 ). Eyes black. Ventral margins of antennal cavities black ( Figs. 1A View FIGURE 1 , 2A View FIGURE 2 ).Dorsal surface of abdomen reddish, eighth abdominal tergite with 1 black spot in middle ( Fig. 1E View FIGURE 1 ). Ovipositor brown.

Material examined. Holotype: male, Tenghe Bridge, Lvchun , Yunnan, August 6, 2022, coll. by Xiangyi Lu and Xiaoyu Peng . Paratype: 1 female, other information as holotype.
