Occurrence: Slovakia ( Gulička, 1977), Hungary ( Duchác & Mlejnek 2000).

Known localities in Hungary: Aggtelek karst: Meteor Cave ( Duchác & Mlejnek 2000).

New data: nil.

Habitat preference: this species is restricted to cavernicolous habitats.

Remarks: Neobisium (B.) slovacum was described from caves in the Slovakian Karst ( Gulička 1977), and it was subsequently found in the Meteor Cave in Hungary, which is located on the Hungarian side of the same karstic area ( Duchác & Mlejnek 2000).
