Paratype: sex unknown, Thailand, Chiang Mai Province, Chiang Doi, grassy area near organic orchard, 11.iv.10, UV light trap, D L J Quicke (voucher BCLDQ01320, Genbank HQ551220 View Materials ) [eaten by ants] .
Length of body 3.8 mm, of fore wing 3.2 mm and of antenna 4.6 mm.
Antenna with 35 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere cylindrical, acuminate. Median flagellomeres approximately 2.5 x longer than wide. Occipital carina broadly absent mediodorsally, joining hypostomal carina ventrally. Mesopleuron largely aciculate, anteriorly and dorsally rugulose, precoxal sulcus weakly impressed, rugulose, specular area entirely aciculate. Propodeum with complete midlongitudinal carina. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.15 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 2.5 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2- SR+M 0.95 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 1.9 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.7 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein m-cu absent. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified adpressed setae. Claws without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite weakly produced, angular, not steeply concave posteriorly. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite complete.
Etymology. Named in reference to close relationship with A. buzurae .
Note: Differs from A. bachmaduplus sp nov. in 3 bases but tergite 4 does not have posterior projections and is only weakly emarginate posterolaterally. Both species, however, have short and relatively wide 1 st metasomal tergites.
