The 6 species of this group are characterized by the male genital sac sclerite having a distinct medioposterior convexity ( Figs. 10–14 View FIGURES 8 – 15. 8 ), the female without significant enlargement of the metanotum or abdominal tergites ( Figs. 3 View FIGURES 1 – 7. 1 – 5 , 9 View FIGURES 8 – 15. 8 ), and the remaining characters as for the pycnonoti species group.
