Guilielmia monticola Weise, 1924: 24 ; Biondi & D’Alessandro, 2012: 86, Fig. 46.

Types examined. Type ♀: UGANDA-RWANDA-DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO, “ Birunga, Mount Mukeno [= Volcan Mikeno : 01°27'47''S, 29°25'06''E], 3100 m ” ( NHRS) GoogleMaps .

Additional material examined. UGANDA-RWANDA-DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO: Volcan Karisimbi [01°30'29''S, 29°27'00''E], Rukumi , 3500–3700 m, 9–18.Vii.1970, “prairie, Fauchage ”, R.P.M. Lejeune leg., 1 ♂ ( RMCA) GoogleMaps ; ditto, Forêt de Hagenia , 3300–3500 m, 23.vii–1.viii.1970, “humus”, 1 ♂ ( RMCA) GoogleMaps .

Taxonomic remarks. We attributed the two males aboVe to Guilielmia monticola for the presence of a weak antebasal transVerse pronotal depression (reported by Weise (1924) in the original description of the species), Visible in lateral View, and the close proximity of the collecting localities to that of the holotype. Median lobe of aedeagus ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 3 – 9. 3 ) slightly fusiform laterally in Ventral View, apically obtuse, with a short rounded median tooth; slightly and regularly curVed in lateral View, with a Ventrally bent apex; dorsal ligula extending for about half the length of aedeagus, and formed by one main central sclerified lobe narrowing apically, and two lateral lobes elongate apically. The only known female of G. monticola , the holotype, is a Very immature female, so its spermatheca is undetectable (cf. Biondi & D’Alessandro 2012, Fig. 46).

Biometry. Male (n = 2): LE = 2.01, 2.05 mm; WE = 1.58, 1.63 mm; LP = 0.74, 0.76 mm; WP = 1.11, 1.18 mm; LAN = 1.78, 1.85 mm; LAED = 1.18, 1.21 mm; LB = 2.73, 2.88 mm; LE/LP = 2.73, 2.69; WE/WP = 1.42, 1.38; WP/LP = 1.51, 1.54; WE/LE = 0.78, 0.79; LAN /LB = 0.65, 0.64; LE/ LAED = 1.71, 1.69.

Distribution. Mountain area (Birunga, Volcan Mikeno and Volcan Karisimbi) between Uganda, Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo (KiVu Sud). Chorotype: Central Afrotropical (CAT).
