"Habitat in Hungaria interiore, Pannonia, Thracia, Mysia." RCN: 6136.

Lectotype (Leonova in Novosti Sist. Vyssh. Rast. 24: 180. 1987): Herb. Linn. No. 988.31 ( LINN) .

Current name: Artemisia pontica L. View in CoL View at ENA ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Leonova treated unspecified material in LINN as “Typus” and as there is only one collection there associated with this name, sheet 988.31 is accepted as the lectotype. Ling (in Taxon 47: 354. 1998) independently made the same choice of type.
