Leptochelia caldera Bamber & Costa, 2009 : 188–193, figs 2–3 (Type locality: Ilhéu de Vila Franca, Portugal, south wall of the flooded crater, attached to low-littoral algae. Holotype female with oostegites, NHM.2007.424).

Geographic distribution. São Miguel, Azores (Ilhéu de Vila Franca, Pesqueiro, Emissário, Sinaga, Atalhada, Caloura, Faial da Terra, Nordeste and Ribeirinha).

Habitat. In littoral sediments, rocks and algae.
