TYPE LOCALITY: Papua New Guinea, Louisiade Arch., Panniet Isl .

DISTRIBUTION: Louisiade Arch.; D'Entrecasteaux Isis.; Trobriand Isis.

COMMENT: Considered a subspecies of nwluccensis by Laurie and Hill, 1954:42, but as a separate species by Bergmans, 1979, Beaufortia, 29:201-207.
