Traganopsis Maire et Wilczek, Bull. Soc. Hist. Nat. Afr. N. 27 67 (1936).

Small shrub. Leaves alternate. Flowers bisexual and pistillate, in many-flowered clusters, subtended by 2-3 bracteoles; perianth tubular, 5-lobed, indurated and accrescent in fruit; anthers obtuse; disk well developed With 5 staminodes. Seeds vertical, beaked; embryo spiral. One sp., T. glomerata Maire et Wilczek , N Africa (Morocco).
