Type Locality: Australia, Queensland, Percy Isl.

Vernacular Names: Dusky Flying Fox.

Distribution: Known from the type locality only.

Conservation: CITES – Appendix II. IUCN / SSC Action Plan (1992) – Extinct? IUCN 2003 – Extinct.

Discussion: subniger species group. Known only from the holotype. It is not clear that this taxon represents a valid species, see Koopman (1984 c).
