Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: United Arab Emirates ( Roche 1981 as Cleptinae sp. 1).

Remarks: This record may be a species such as Cleptes splendidus (Fabricius, 1794) , which is known from southern Iran ( Farzaneh et al. 2017).
