Treatment

Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Saudi Arabia ( Strumia & Dawah 2010).

Extralimital distribution: Algeria ( Kimsey & Bohart 1991).

Remarks: The occurrence of Chrysis rhodochalcea in the Arabian Peninsula is doubtful; the descriptions by du Buysson (1900) and Linsenmaier (1999) are unclear and none of the types of any species in this group were examined by Strumia & Dawah (2010). Even the synonymy proposed by Strumia & Dawah (2010) of Chrysis dentiincisa Linsenmaier, 1999 with Chrysis rhodochalcea du Buysson, 1900 is doubtful because it was proposed without type examination. The specimens should be double checked after examination of types.
