Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Oman, Saudi Arabia ( Linsenmaier 1994; Strumia & Dawah 2019), United Arab Emirates ( Linsenmaier 1994; Howarth & Gillett 2008; Strumia 2008, 2014), Yemen ( Madl 2018).

Extralimital distribution: Central Asia, Northern Africa, widespread in sub-Saharan Africa ( Kimsey & Bohart 1991; Linsenmaier 1994, 1999).
